Ethnic songs and dances are a beautiful scenery, with Seda Tibetan opera being ancient and heavy, Batang strings singing and dancing lightly, Ganzi tapping stirring people's hearts, Zhenda Guozhuang rough and unrestrained, and Luhuoshan songs beautiful and melodious. There are love songs for mutual affection, labor songs for labor, mountain songs for grazing, wine songs for friends gathering, wedding songs for weddings, moon songs for urging people to work hard in farming, songs for the completion of new houses, and songs such as string dance, pot dance, tap dance, etc. for spring outings.

In short, Ganzi Prefecture is known as the "ocean of song and dance" due to its ability to sing and dance at all times, in every place, and in every event. In terms of festival culture, there are a wide variety of types, with each state, county, township, and village having its own festival. Such as Kangding's "April 8th Zhuanshan Festival" and "Love Song Festival", Batang's "Yangle Festival", Luhuo's "Wangguo Festival", Litang's "Horse Racing Festival", and so on; Garze Tibetan people attach great importance to marriage, and the marriage customs vary from place to place. Some areas still retain ancient and unique customs such as "walking marriage", making it a small museum of human marriage and family types.
